one of the best itx cooler
I recently upgraded my small form factor build with the ID-COOLING IS-55 ARGB White CPU cooler, and it has exceeded my expectations in both performance and design. Here's my detailed review: Design and Compatibility The IS-55’s low-profile design (only 57mm in height) is perfect for compact systems where space is a premium. It fits seamlessly into my ITX case, and the white finish adds a clean, modern look. The cooler is compatible with a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets, including Intel’s LGA1700, 1200, and 115x, and AMD’s AM4 and AM5, which adds to its versatility. If you're working with a small build, this cooler is an excellent choice. Cooling Performance The IS-55 features five heat pipes and a 120mm PWM fan that delivers efficient heat dissipation, ensuring my CPU remains cool even under moderate load. While it's not designed for extreme overclocking, it easily handles daily tasks and moderate gaming or workload without any temperature spikes. It supports a maximum TDP of 125W, which is more than enough for most users. ARGB Lighting One of the standout features is the customizable ARGB lighting. The cooler’s lighting is vibrant and can be synchronized with your motherboard via a 5V 3-pin connector. This makes it easy to match the cooler’s lighting effects with the rest of your build, adding a stylish touch to your system. The ARGB looks especially good in darker cases, where the lighting can shine through more brightly. Installation and Noise Installation was a breeze. The mounting system is secure and straightforward, and it comes with clear instructions. The fan operates quietly, even under load, which is great if you value a quieter build. It’s perfect for users who want performance without the added noise. Conclusion Overall, the ID-COOLING IS-55 ARGB White CPU cooler is an excellent choice for anyone building a compact system. It offers solid cooling performance, easy installation, and an aesthetic touch with its ARGB lighting. Whether you're building a small HTPC or a high-performance SFF PC, this cooler offers a great balance of functionality and style. Highly recommended!

Excellent low-profile cooler for ITX
I bought this CPU cooler for my Formd T1 v2.5 build as the heatsink seems very dense, maximising cooling performance theoretically. The quality is excellent and what's more everything is matte black, which is very good for those that care about aesthetics. And with no logos, it allows for an extremely clean build. The included fan is whisper silent and seems to perform well, but I swapped this out to a standard 25mm fan as I still had room in my build running a 2 slot GPU. The package includes longer screws for standard thickness fans, though I found them to be slightly long, but this could be because of the particular fan. And a really important part: this is all for just over £30, which is very competitive given what it offers. An important thing to note is that it has a maximum 33mm RAM clearance, so this requires you to have very low profile RAM or no heatsinks. I opted to remove the heatsinks from my RAM. Alternatively, you can remove any I/O covers from your motherboard and run any height RAM. In the Formd T1 specifically, you should definitely orient it over the I/O instead of the RAM as otherwise one of the side struts will be in the way, reducing the effective space for the cooler (at least with AM4 mounting). On my board (Asus Strix B550I), this cover is just a plastic part and can be removed with a few screws, so it is just there for aesthetics anyway. I have no issue with any of these low clearances, as it really maximises the cooling you can get in small systems like the T1. Overall a very good product from a company providing quality at a low price.

performs well
performs very well on R5 4500 am4 65w, even with back gpu so close as on riser so worst case and a smaller type itx case the cooler quite, keeps temps under control, normal use 35-41c and benchmarks 60-65c and even that in a hot room and full fan power i do not think i can hear it but i have other room fans. the build of it seems good, fairly easy to install, one a load reduces like end benchmark temps very fast return to norm, the only thing id say price, if the id 67 is around £40 i do feel this should be a little cheaper but im still very happy with it, think i paid £38, so impressed with it my old system getting new case and height limited ive gone and got the id 67mm not used it yet but one extra heat pipe i got it for £30 new but opened and that inc postage but normally they around £40 so in future i may review id 67, but id 55 used for 3 months now i think and so far very happy with it performance but id say 65w cpu is prob highest id go but i like my cpu at no more than mid 60's c so if you happy with higher temps go ahead, a great cooler for itx build

Perfect fit on Strix B550-i
Great little cooler which keeps a Ryzen 7 3700X well below throttling. Fits perfectly on my Strix B550-i with Corsair Vengeance LPX memory. I'm docking 1 star though for the use of non-standard fan screws. I wanted to mount a Noctua NF-A12x15 but the screws aren't compatible as they're too short and the long ones are too long. They're also narrower than standard fan or radiator screws, so no luck using those.

It keeps my CPU cool at around 40–60 °C while running games at 4k
Brilliant CPU cooler, does everything it says it does, it was a bit hard to fit on my Gigabyte B650I AX ITX Socket AM5 Motherboard but once I figured out which way to put it and modified the motherboard heat shield a bit it fitted fine and works brilliantly. It keeps my CPU cool at around 40–60 °C while running games at 4k and is really low noise level. I would recommend it to everyone.

Seems good quality but doesn’t fit for me
Trying to get this in a Gigabyte Z790UD (LGA1700) with Corsair Vengeance DIMMS but the heatsink blocks out at least 2, possibly 3 DIMM slots, by 1-2mm, thanks to the (probably pointless) casing on that RAM. Shame. Don’t know why they didn’t just make it a little taller since most coolers these days are at least twice as high off the board.

Better than APX95 - 47 Full Copper!!
Everyone online says its on par with APX95 47 Full Copper, however, my experience is that this is vastly superior. I wonder if this is because the mounting on the APX95 is outdated and I have doubts if the CPU was making correct contact (despite doing everything correctly) and tight screws. Furthermore, the APX95 caused my motherboard to kink/slightly bend which was concerning. ID-Cooling IS-55 has none of these issues. Super easy to fit and can be installed without having to remove the motherboard from the case (no need to access the back). It is cooling my Ryzen 7900x very well. I do normally have mine limited to 45W (I lose no single thread performance -in fact I gained a bit as I was able to overclock doing so and only minor multi-thread hit suprisingly less than 10% on multi). in my SFFC the CPU idles at 50C, multi-thread stress does not exceed 70c!! single thread stress (which can trigger some hot spots in this amd - compatabile with AM5 ) is under 80C. I can't hear any fan noise either as I have the fan curve on ultra quite/silent settings, I'm sure it would be even much cooler if I had it normal. to sum it up! Excellent cooler and value for money. I got mine used like new for £30!! can't argue with that.

Great value
Saved some money and got this Used - Like New from Amazon Warehouse. Product is very clean apart from a little thermal paste which is easily cleaned up. All fittings were included so no problems there either. Dropped temps significantly, and noise a bit compared to Wraith Stealth cooler.

Compact SFF Cooling That Punches Above Its Size
The ID-COOLING IS-55 stands out as a highly capable low-profile air cooler, especially for small form factor and ITX builds where space is at a premium. Installation is straightforward, with a well-thought-out mounting system - particularly on AM5 - making it easy to get a secure fit without unnecessary frustration. The ability to remove the fan during installation also helps in tight cases. Thermal performance is impressive for its size. In an 8.5L chassis paired with a Ryzen 9800X3D, it maintains strong gaming temperatures in the mid-50s to mid-60s °C range, with only brief spikes under heavier shader compilation loads. Noise levels stay well controlled thanks to the slim 120mm PWM fan. Clearance is another strong point - the design allows good RAM compatibility and even helps with airflow over low-profile memory modules. Overall build quality and cooling efficiency make it a strong alternative in the SFF space, even when compared to more established competitors in larger cooler categories. For compact builds where height and airflow are both critical constraints, this is a very well-balanced solution that delivers solid real-world performance without excessive noise.

Missing parts, packaging appears used
Received this product with the amd bracket missing from the packing. The screws were also not in plastic pouches. It looks like this is a used product with missing components. Absolutely unacceptable. And to discover this while assembling my PC is really frustrating.
