So for 45 litres of fresh water you would need 23 drops. The bottle comes with a flip lid and a small hole so it is very easy to dispense one drop at a time. It doesn’t seem a lot but it works, the best you can buy. I never use anything else. You only need 10ml to treat 400 Litres! most other products require about 10ml to treat 40 L. So it lasts about 10 times as long as them. If its double the price... that's still 5 times better value. Prime also detoxifies ammonia and nitrite. **Q: do you need to use this every 48 hours? or just the once then every week when doing a 20% water change?** A: If you want to use this specifically to detoxify high levels of nitrite, nitrate etc, then you need to dose every 48 hours.
