Very good shaver and is easy to use.

I’ve been using this Braun Series 5 daily for a couple of weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The shave is close and smooth, way less irritation than my old rotary shaver, which is a huge win for my sensitive skin. I love that it’s fully waterproof too—being able to rinse it under the tap straight after use is so handy, and the battery life is brilliant, I’ve only charged it once so far. My only minor issue is with the head design. It’s a little bulky, so getting right into tricky areas like the neck and jawline takes a bit more time and effort. I’ve had to go over those spots a couple of times to get a fully smooth finish, which is slightly annoying, but not a dealbreaker by any means. If you don’t mind taking a little extra care with those hard-to-reach bits, this is a really reliable, well-made shaver that does exactly what it says on the tin. I’d still recommend it, just knocking one star for that small design flaw.

Do not buy. I have the series 3 model which works better!! Waste of money upgrading to the series 5, the shave is not as close cut for this model and there’s less attachments. I want a refund.

This review is for a Braun Series 5 electric shaver. I got it in the Black Friday sale for £60'ish. It was slightly cheaper having been returned and box opened. It provides an excellent shave. No electric shaver beats wet but this is the best I have tried. My series 3 replacement foil was a third of the price so decided a new shaver made sense. It is far superior to my series 3 providing a quicker, closer shave. It would have got 5 stars if it came with a sideburn trimmer. Battery life good. No charging stand but fits my old series 3 stand. Very pleased with my purchase.

It's not the best shaver, but it's ok for the price paid, it doesn't give you a close shave, but ok for a quick tidy up of the face
