How to Catch a Daddysaurus

I love the How to Catch a Daddysaurus book! This author has a series of books that are similar to this one. They are colorful, witty, and it keeps students engaged when doing a read aloud in class.

This book is so cute! I love the whole How to catch… book series. This one didn’t disappoint either! Very cute written and perfectly for Daddy’s turn to read bedtime story. The illustrations are adorable as well and our baby girl giggles listening to the story!

Made a “tool box” gift for Father’s Day and got this book to add, as both my boys love when Dad reads to them. In lieu of a greeting card, get this book! It says everything you want to say to a great dad but with a thoughtful story and beautiful/ bright illustrations. Size: 8.25” square There is a To/From in the beginning of the book if you are gifting it, but my favorite is the last page where the kids can write their own note/picture. Such a great idea! My Grandson love dinosaurs and enjoyed this book. He is 3 yrs old.

I purchased this book due to it being Father’s Day and always love adding a gift our 3 year old would love to share with his dad. What better than one of the “How to catch” books which involve dinosaurs as well. My husband loved it and we have read it a few more than few times. The quality of this book is great. Vivid color. Easy to read especially with a toddler pointing all over the pages while your trying to read the words. Great story and we love short books at bed time because let’s face it we always read more than how many we say we will and the “How to Catch” books are some of our favorites. I would recommend this one. It is great as a gift and I had my son (with mamas help) write Happy Father‘a Day and his name in it just to add that personal touch which we will keep as a keepsake for years and years. Buy this book! It’s great and the kids will love it.

Wonderful read for young children.

Is better written than the one called Manasaurus but it noticeably makes father references that don’t fit every family. In fact one page references fatherly examples that don’t fit with the family I intended it for at all - for example the father of the family I wanted to gift to would never even consider feeding sweets as a meal and even though the story says the father wouldn’t do it, it implies he would like to. I don’t want to confuse the kids so I will donate this book. I am sure it fits some family dynamics but not all.

Was a Father's Day gift and it was well received it. My husband loved it and so did my dinosaur loving child.

My 4 year old grandson loves to read and this book is ideal for his dinasour fascination. Love it!

Such a cute story. I have a Father’s Day tradition that I give my husband a new father’s book to read with the kids every year.

I have most of the books from this author. Always interesting to hear the many opinions from students. Love the pictures.
