As my roots were so noticeable I had ended up having to colour every four weeks which is expensive, time consuming and not good for my scalp, so I decided to try this out after looking at lots of different options. I wasn't keen on the sprays as I couldn't really see how I could avoid getting it on my scalp and my skin can be a little sensitive. This does actually work for me. Despite my hair being pretty dark, the lighter of the two colours in this product works best and I tend to use this one colour only and it covers well enough that my roots aren't noticeable, even covering the white hair sufficiently well. It stays on until washed out (I was my hair every other day) and I haven't had any problems with it transferring to any other surfaces.
