You first will need to identify the likely position of the ants' nest (track back ants to where they disappear into the walls, floor etc.). Put a couple of drops of the liquid on a coin placed near to the nest which and you will soon see ants coming to feed on the liquid. Depending on the size of the infestation, you may need to replenish the supply. Within 24 - 48 hours, you shouldn't see any more ants coming to feed - they've taken the poison back to the nest and hopefully killed off all. Only small downside is that it's not easy to limit the flow of the liquid from the tube, and if you're not careful, you'll have a great blob of sticky liquid all over the floor.
