There are two screws at the base and when the ST6400C was removed the replacement fitted in its place. I was given the information initially by my service engineer **Q: The description says: "now with lot technology". (that's capital l and capital t, but this site changes them to small l t!) what is lot technology?** A: LoT means "Line of Text" and refers to the programmer display in response to any button pressed or slider moved. It enables an installer or user to set the programmer without needing to refer to a manual. **Q: I presume this is hard wired to the boiler. Where can I get a wireless version of it?** A: Sorry try the Honeyline technical help email they were v helpful **Q: Dose this controller replace the potterton 2002** A: Yes, the Honeywell ST9400c is logically similar to the Potterton 2002, so could be used as a replacement. However you will need to replace the backplate (fixed to your wall) and the order of the wires will change ~ this should not be a problem for your electrician ~ if you intend to replace the backplate yourself make sure you connect the wires to the correct terminals.
