We put the bottoms of the curtains on the window ledges and opened up a large chunk of the polythene. Yes it was thin as a previous reviewer said but that was ok for our needs it made it easier to use we taped it all round the edges to enclose the curtains and it worked a treat. I wouldn't have put it on the floor as it's not robust enough to walk on but as a cover up it was perfect . A great buy.
