The head is dome shape. Very good screws but you might be better getting a shorter length and the the attachment bits you can buy that screw into the plug sockets for better flexibility. See: 3.5mm β€˜socket screw extension studs’ they come in 4 packs. **Q: Are those screws nickel plated?** A: I believe so. They're similar to those that come with a standard 13 amp socket, but longer. If they're too long, you can cut them with a pair of pliers. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made 3.5 x 75mm extra long screws for electrical sockets *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 September 2016* Having visited various local DIY stores in order to find some slightly longer than standard 3.5mm socket screws I was well pleased when I discovered that 3.5 x 75mm socket screws were listed on Amazon so ordered a pack of 20 figuring that they may well come in handy for the future and for the price were well worth buying.The screws arrived pretty promptly and worked a treat - basically the electricians had fitted a box on the wall at an angle in the kitchen and with fitting tiles onto the wall meant that the two standard screws weren't long enough!I also purchased some 3.5 x 50mm screws which were just as good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely long! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 December 2017* I bought these as the 50mm ones I had were too short for a couple of sockets I have installed in our new kitchen. I was also able to snip the ends to shorten the screws as they actually hit the back of the back box- this was surprising because of how thick our plaster is. Now I have plenty of them just incase.
