Julian Bowen Coxmoor Bench, Oak, Height: 45, Width: 101, Depth: 32cm

We decided to change our dining room around to make it more usable. We still wanted it to keep the dining table in there, but wanted to make extra space to put a sofa in there to make use of it as a second living room. To do this we replaced the chairs around the table with 2 of these benches which are the perfect size to fit underneath the table. We also put felt furniture pads on the legs of the table and chairs which allow us to slide the table out the way when not in use. They didn't take long to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. The quality of the benches is excellent, they look great and match our table perfectly. They are made of solid wood and can easily support the weight of 2 adults plus a small child. You’re basically sitting on a plank of wood, so they are not the most comfortable to sit on for a long period of time, but are perfectly fine to sit on for meal times. Highly Recommended!!

PROS: 1) Quality construction from solid oak. 2) Looks far more expensive 3) Seats 3 slim people or 2 larger people 4) Easy to assemble (just adding legs to the bench) 5) Looks great! CONS: NONE! BUY THIS BENCH! That's the simple message I'll give to you. We've just spent a few pounds short of £2k for a hand made solid oak snooker dining table (Ian Donohoe). We bought two of these benches to fit 4 people, but they'll fit 6 of my family and we're shocked at how good they are. Especially since when we went buy they were more expensive. They are sturdy, heavy and solidly built with good quality fixings which include a flat washer and a spring washer. The spring washer says it all. That's attention to detail to ensure the nut is kept under tension. A lot of companies would have supplied a wing nut and a flat washer. However, this has been supplied with a nut and both a flat washer (to spread the load) and the spring washer. The bench is comfortable to sit on and sitting on one end doesn't destabilise it. I surmise that this bench would accommodate 40 stone/200kg easily. It really does look far more expensive than it is. The one star reviews on here are due to user error. It's quite clearly an indoor bench, and the customer who left it outside in the rain obviously doesn't read the description. I heartily recommend this bench and at a fraction of the price of similar benches you can't go wrong.

This bench was so easy to put together. It's solid and seats two people comfortably. The colour is terrific and matched our dining table, it also tucks in under the table which was a criteria when purchasing as all the others viewed wouldn't. Will add seat cushions for those long drawn out dinner parties, it's a shame they're not sold as an accessory option. Great buy, great price, great quality!

This bench is good value, nice and solid piece of furniture. I got it to go at the end of the double bed in my small guest bedroom. Does the job perfectly

My expectations were higher after reading the reviews and when the item arrived it definitely met them. I am so pleased, the bench is solid oak. You get so much for your money. It looks and feels amazing quality. Very sturdy, you will not be disappointed. Easy to assemble too.

Really impressed with these benches. They look really stylish and feel very sturdy. Benches are always a bit nerving to buy due to bad ones feeling like they will tip any moment, but I can't say I've had that once since have these in my house. Goes great with similar woods from other IKEA furniture. Easy to clean, assembly wasn't too hard and feel like I got good value for money!

I have brought an extendable table and when we have first having an extra bench is useful. This is fantastic. High quality real oak. Sturdy and super easy to build. Literally just add the legs. The bolts are already ordered with nuts in correct place. Fantastic item

Lo compre porque siempre faltan sillas, cuabdo viene gente a casa. Y obté por el banco, es un buen producto y aguanta bien el peso de tres personas.

Schreibe nicht oft Bewertungen, aber als diese Bank heute ankam, war ich begeistert und habe mir gleich eine zweite bestellt. Sie steht nun in meinem kleinen Wohnzimmer als Tisch umfunktioniert da und wird bei Bedarf als Sitzbank in die Küche gestellt. Alles aus Vollholz,eingeölt und sehr stabil gearbeitet. Anständige, zusammenbauselbsterklärende Beschläge(da nicht in kompletten Einzelteilen dazugelegt), inclusive Werkzeug sind dabei und alles in ordentlicher Verpackung mit Kantenschutz geliefert. Die zweite Bank stell ich nächste Woche zum ersten Tisch und hoffe, dass die Farbe die gleiche ist. Da die Bank komplett aus Vollholz ist, kann ich sie jahrzehnte benutzen und bei Bedarf abschleifen und neu einölen Danke, für dieses tolle Naturprodukt und dem so fairen Preis incl. Versandgebühren :O)

Pour manger le petit déjeuner dans la cuisine avec famille qui sont venu me visiter. C’est génial le banc. Ce banc est solide et se glisse parfaitement sous la table de la cuisine pour ne pas prendre de place. c'est très simple à assembler.
