It arrived very quickly, is robust, easy to use and lighter than I had expected. I had also thought that I would need a mallet to get it in the ground but you can simply push down on the lever bit with your foot as it's very strongly made, then use the same lever to pull it out again. So far I have used it in conjunction with a pretty top heavy Ultra Fishing Umbrella 2.2m width, and it kept it totally stable on a sandy beach all day; to be fair, it wasn't a windy day but it looked as though it would still work in pretty adverse conditions.

Works well

Bought this to use with my fishing brolly, very impressed.It isn't massively heavy or cumbersome and saves on having to struggle to get the spike on the brolly itself into the ground. My only criticism would be that the fastening mechanism will mark the brolly pole-but it isn't essential to use this as the tube itself is sufficient to hold the brolly up.Good piece of kit.

Ordered 2 of these to use with my windbreaker in the garden. Easy to push into soil and just the right size for my 20mm poles. Seem to hold the windbreaker securely and the spike holders themselves appear strong and sturdy. Cheapest I could find so good value for money.

Good sturdy product

Bought this for my fishing umbrella. It was perfect. Held my brolly in place with no issues. Only thing that would make it better is if it had more than one foot to help stabilise it in really strong winds but for the price I've got no complaints.

Probably fine just the wrong size for my brolly! My fault for not checking!

I purchased the Fladon Brolly spike - as recommended on Amazon - to accompany the Sports Brella hoping it would give extra support on windy days. Unfortunately the two pieces of kit are incompatible - and it's deffo not because I'm an aged - even female! - Silver Surfer of 71. There are two silver screw extensions on the Brella pole which mean it will not fit into the Fladon spike - at least not far enough in to tighten and secure. So a well presented and quickly delivered piece of kit - but not useful in it's present state. I'll see if I can saw a slit in the Fladon spike to make it work - can't be bothered to return. But AMAZON should not recommend the two pieces of kit together. No hard feelings only a tenner - worse things happen. If I can make it work see attached pics for explanation.

el diametro es muy pequeño esto no es para una caña e pescar es mas para una sombrilla tiene ese diametro..no lo voy a devolver porque mas caro me sale devolverlo,pero deverian espesificar el ancho para evitar problemas lo usare para mi sombrilla porque para la caña de pescar le falta la mitad de ancho de lo que viene .

très content de mon achat, produit corresponde à mes attentes. Utilisé sur plage pierreux , sable difficile à planter son parasol...
