I have the multicam hat and the Velcro is 2x3 and fits my patch perfectly. But if you take a look at the photo I uploaded of my tan one, the Velcro panel is larger than my patch with about a quarter inch extra on both ends. It's kind of annoying, but I really like how the hats fit - both fit the same - so I got over it. **Q: Will it wick water away during rain?
