## Description

Sage The Nutri Juicer Plus, 1300 Watt : desertcart.co.uk: Home & Kitchen

Review: Well Built Juicer - Health Is Wealth - Great juicer, very easy to use and simple to set up. There are a few parts to put together but doesn’t take very long and it feels well built when handing. The juice it produces is amazing; I put a plastic bag in the pulp bin and makes cleaning easier after use. Takes around 5 minutes to clean after you have used it but I make a large batch in the jug. Before buying a juicer, the common trend in reviews was the cleaning. It is a juicer and there will be parts to clean after use, what do you expect, you have to put effort in to something to get the rewards. This juicer didn’t take long at all and when cleaned using the tap and the little brush which comes with it, I left all parts to dry on the drainer. It is then ready to use again once dry. It also has a digital dial for soft or hard fruit and vegetables; if you are looking to buy your first juicer, this mid-range fast juicing model is really good and the price is reasonable too.
Review: Have a read! - Just had this product for a week after previously owning a cheaper 800 watt product from a different manufacturer. Where to start with the comparisons........ 1. This unit is soooooooooooo quiet!, the other one i had sounded like a F1 Car speeding past ye every time ye stuck a cucumber down the shoot! 2. Assembling the unit is very easy, just a couple of clicks and your good to go. 3. the speed settings are excellent........setting 1 for things like spinach, kale etc, up to setting 5 for hard veg. 4. Cleaning is a breeze!!!, the unit i had before was a nightmare to clean, and the motor housing ended up wet!. with this, you basically give the shoot housing a quick rinse, rinse out your pulp bin, and give the grinder thing a good wee scrub! The amount of people on here complaining about cleaning this unit........GET A GRIP!!! What do you expect??? ..................................................................... I have been juicing daily for the past year and the previous unit i had was replaced 3 times as the motor would burn out. Apparently.....this unit comes with a 5 year motor warranty, so no complaints there! ..................................................................... what do i juice?? Once per day, I juice the following ingredients: 250g Bag of spinach x2 (£1.09 each bag from lidl) whole cucumber x2 (45p from lidl) Carrots x4 (1kg bag for around 80p) Whole celery head x1 (50p) 8 apples (£1.30) 1 lemon (bag of 3 for around 80p) 1 thumb size cut of fresh Ginger (50p bag from Aldi) Once all the above items are juiced........it gives around 2.5litres of juice, which you can store in sealed 500ml cups (have a look in poundland or sports direct for cheap cups) and stored in the fridge (for around 24 hours) Doing this keeps the juice fresh, and still full with nutrients. You could also just juice as when you need to.....but for me that was a total pain in the bum as you would have been setting the unit up, juicing, washing etc....up to 5 times a day! I have also noted that i get much more juice from my spinach alone compared to the other unit! overall i give it 5 stars, really good bit of kit! yes its a wee bit pricey compared to other models, but ye really do get what your paying for! I hope this review helps

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anyone use the extra discs and find them useful? Does the extra 100 watts between this and the basic model make a noticeable difference?**
A: Personally I have used the Froojie disc once and didn't find it very effective. I would rather use a traditional blender. Whether the extra 100 Watts makes a difference or not I do not know as I have never used the basic 1200W version. All I do know is that I used to have the 800W Philipps Avance and that was underpowered resulting in machine burnout - not an experience I wanted to repeat. I would say go for as much power as you can afford - I couldn't justify the extra money for an extra 200W for the pro version but was willing to pay the extra to get the power of the plus. Hope this helps.

**Q: I understand that Apple seeds aren't good for you. may I ask if the juicer seperates these out or if we still need to core when using?**
A: I've had my machine since 13th October 2015 and, as per the Sage demo video, I put the apples in whole (they say you don't need to remove the labels but I do). Also, I've always rinsed everything in cold or warm water, or put it in the bowl and shaken things about a bit, then put them in the dishwasher and the blades seem as sharp as when I bought the machine. I wash the blade, cover and pusher in the upper basket. The jugs (I bought a second so I can juice more quantity) go in the lower dishwasher basket as they won't fit in the upper one. I never need to clean the pulp collecting bin thanks to the tip given by an Amazon customer reviewer who said to line it with a bin liner. (If I can I will find who that reviewer was and amend this answer with a specific thank you, though I have found that sometimes Amazon won't let you edit a posting.)

**Q: What guarentee comes with this product?**
A: It comes with a 2 years repair or replacement guarantee along with a 5 year motor warranty, according to the box.

**Q: Re. the Nutri Juicer Plus. When washing up, is there a knack to removing the clear plastic `bowl' (in which the cutting disk sits) from the metal base? I can't seem to do it!**
A: It comes up real easy with mine. Are you removing the cutting disc first? Alternatively has any juice spilled on the base effectively glueing the bowl to the base? Colin

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great juicer!
*by D***N on 1 October 2013*

I wanted something that juices pretty much anything, and this fits the bill. Anything that it cant juice (bananas, avocados...), u use the froojie disk on, and blend. I've juiced pretty much everything without issue, (for leaves compress between larger items and they juice fine). Note - not all items will leave you with dry pith. Tomatoes, pineapple, & grapes will retain more moisture in the pith due to their consistency. Don't buy a centrifugal juicer that disperses the pith immediately if you want dry pith for these. You do get a good amount of juice from each though. Everything else I've juiced, the pith is as dry as can be expected, and I've juiced pretty much everything, and anything. One of my concerns with buying this was how easy it is to clean, but cleaning is fast and easy. It takes between 2-5mins depending on what you have been juicing. The item looks the part and is really well made. I was amazed at the build quality when I unpacked it. I was reluctant to buy this after trying a Phillips but i'm really glad I did. The only downsides with this product, and the reasons I've given this 4 stars instead of 5 is that after using the product for some time the plastics lose their sparkle. They get loads of tiny scratches, and occasionally you get a large noise when putting items in the juicer that get caught between the disc and the feeder tube, this might have caused the seals to come apart between the feeder tube and the plastic top (minor gap at present). I'm going to keep an eye in this and request a replacement part if it gets any worse. That said, i've spoken to a friend who owns a philips and he's experienced similar issues minus the seal issue.
