Shimano Ultegra 6701 10 speed Road Mountain Bike Cycle Chain CN6700

Good product & an Excellent Supplier. Back in the day when I was a young time-trialist apart from "block chains" used by track sprinters the chain choice was 1/8th Inch or 3/32nd inch, so the modern multi-gear chain seems incredibly flimsy to me and the fact you need to specify the number of sprockets on the block (cassette in today's parlance) complicates the choice even more. Having taken great care to order the correct chain for my 10 speed Shimano Ultegra cassette. I was somewhat taken aback to find the delivered chain was clearly marked for use only with a double ring crankset. I'm using a triple ring!!! I contacted the Supplier, he was very helpful and said he would replace the chain with a "triple" by return if I could use the amazon returns process. I did (what a great system) and the new "triple" chain arrived even quicker than expected. Using the TRIXIE CHAIN RIVET TOOL (see separate review) fitting the new chain was a breeze and gear shifting restored to the slick smoothness of the bike when new. I don't have the "kick" of Mark Cavendish MBE or Sir Chris Hoy but the chain has withstood everything I can throw at it including "honking" the relatively flat (15% max) hills of Essex.

Best Quality for people who are using Campagnolo Cassette but your system is shimano, YES you can use it on Campagnolo as I am using for the past 10 years

The chain came really quickly and fitted a treat. There is a handy break off stud that fits the chain together which makes fitting really easy. This chain is directional but it is very clear which way around it has to go. It was also really competitively priced. The gear's did need adjusting slightly once the chain was fitted but that was expected.

Ich mag diese Kette sehr. Sie hält einigermaßen gut und lässt sich gut schalten. Verschleiß macht sich bei mir nie durch Längung, sondern durch minimales unpräzieses Verhalten beim Schalten bemerkbar. Ich fahre diese Kette ausschließlich mit Heißwachs. Das Wachs hält bei mir ca 650 bis 900 Kilometer. Ich wische die Kette, die Kettenblätter und die Kassette öfter mal mit einem trockene Microfasertuch ab und alles wirkt wieder wie bestens geschmiert und sehr laufruhig. Staub ist nie gut den Antrieb. Eine Kette hält bei mir immer zwischen 8.000 und 10.000 Kilometer. Vermutlich auch noch etwas länger, wenn ich die Kette öfter reinigen würde. Gefahren bin ich die Kette mit Nietschloß und auch mit Kettenschloss. Ich kann diese Kette bedenkenlos empfehlen und kaufe sie immer wieder.
