I used the mat on the same day the item was delivered and was really disappointed. The mat is WAY too thick and doesn’t allow enough heat through from the tray to cook the macarons.I cooked two trays of macarons from the same mixture, one cooked on the silicone mat and one on the baking paper I usually use.I have posted the results as photos and it is obvious what a difference there is. The ones cooked on the mat had a longer cooking time as I just couldn’t get them to cook throughout. The feet did not rise at all.I’ve wasted £12 and half a batch of macaron mixture. Not impressed. ### ⭐⭐ NOT NON-STICK! *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 September 2017* All I can say is that they're baking sheets. They grip well to the baking tray and the macaron guides are useful. Other than that, they're not great. They're NOT non-stick, meaning I have to throw away about half of every batch of macarons I make because they don't come off the sheet cleanly. They also emit a horrible chemical smell when baking.
