Please how does the water stay in the dripper until you are ready. I thought it would always just flow through. Is there a switch?

The water is not supposed to stay in the dripper. Place a filter paper into the v60 and add 12g of coffee. Slowly pour water over the coffee from the centre to the edge in a spiral motion. The water will pass through the coffee and into the receptacle below. Is this cone made of BPA free plastic? Does it say anything on the packaging?

On the package it says Polypropylene, heatproof temperature 120 degrees C.

I have a porlex manual grinder, please how many notches adjustment for this style coffee.?

I think it is personal taste but it should be coarser than espresso but a little finer than french press hope this helps if you time the brew it should take about 2.5 mins total
