No coating to mess up the burning process. Simple, good quality disc which you can write on with a marker pen.They arrive in a cellophane shrink wrap with no spindle or case. You can buy the same brand that has recently worked so well, only to find that this time, the burner either spits them out, or they simply don't play on one or more appliance...making results patchy and un-predictable? I have had this problem for years, and it has cost me a small fortune and lots of wasted time! So I decided to research all the forums to find a new product that I had never tried before! I confess I had never heard of 'Taiyo Yuden'? But all the feedback seemed positive, so hey ho, I thought I would try them. So far I have been very impressed...from my first batch, every one was a success! Every player in my house can read them, and you don't have to wait ages for the player to flash endlessly while it tries to work out what you are asking it to do and how many tracks are on the disc and so on...am really impressed, so now ordering a second batch!
