Excellent for newbees getting into Koi and ponds
After recently moving house we inherited a large pond with Koi. This book has been an excellent reference, when we knew very little about Koi and ponds. As with all of the Dummies books, the text is very easy to understand, it is informative, and the book has a lot of content. Definitely a recommendation for anyone starting out on managing a pond and looking after Koi.

Excellent Introduction
This book is an excellent introduction to Koi. It builds up knowledge in a thorough but easy to digest format and is definitely one of the better 'for dummies' books we have in the house. With the usual 'for dummies' humour punctuating it, it is an actual reference book and one that will be used again in future.

He would highly recommend.
I bought this for my Dad who as inherited a Koi pond with his new house. He said that it has been an interesting and educational read with no-fuss instructions on how to keep Koi if you're a beginner. He would highly recommend.

Fair amount of info but no colour pictures !
Call me old fashioned, but when you read about the different types of koi, classified to a large degree by their colours, I expected colour pictures ! Especially when you read on page 27 "check out the color section of this book for photos of the various koi varieties", I then start to feel a little short-changed.
