Now it has the soft tactility of a tool 5 times the price. The face of the hammer is OK after cleaning off the varnish. The face is slightly curved, I gave it a rub on some oiled wet and dry and flattened the face off a little more, though it was not essential for use. As it comes just as the standard pin hammer, I will be surprised if you can find a better one at near this price! All in all 5 STARS marked against its price/functioning condition on arrival.
