Defiantly not worth $70 I would look at sennheised hd80's for this price. **Q: is the headphone over the ear or on the ear?** A: Over-ear, your ears should be completely covered. **Q: What''s the size of the drivers for these cans, please ?** A: Sorry - no idea about the driver size. This is an entry level model, good balanced sound. The build is very basic and retro - comfort is just OK and if there is a major drawback it is the long, non detachable & heavy cable. I think most of the production budget went to the drivers and less to the build. I do use it on long walks because I go for the sound more than the looks. If you intend to buy only 1 open type Beyer HP, go for either the DT880 or DT990 32 Ohm model if using with a low output mp3 or portable mini amp. Higher ohm models for stationary settings are available. They rate higher on the happiness meter - the incremental investment is well worth it! In fairness to the DTX 910, it was my first Beyer and the reason I now have 3 other Beyer headphones - I'm still a loyal fan of it. Cheap plastics creak with any minor movement of the head.The problem is exacerbated by the unnecessarily thick, inflexible, heavy, and non-removable 3.5mm cable. The ultra-thin lead which carries the signal across the headband to the right headphone shows how pointless the over-built main cable is.Very frustrating, having returned a set of AKG K92 'phones due to their muffled sound and uncomfortable, unadjustable, head band.[Update. April 24th 2018]Whilst the actual sound quality of the drivers remains good, I hardly ever use these headphones now due to the constant, intrusive, creaking if the cheap plastics, aggravated by the needlessly thick, heavy, and inflexible cord. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unbeatable for the price, quite durable, comfortable and very good sound quality. *by T***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 July 2018* I was apprehensive about buying these headphones due to the plastic but they feel really tough doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart at all. The microfibre pads are very comfortable indeed. The sound stage is simply fantastic, very flat frequency response but maybe a tiny bit of sibilance. Bass response isn't up to the standard of the AKG k240's but the overall quality of the sound is higher. Of course, being open backed they let in a lot of external sound and leak a lot of sound but this is a small price to pay for the incredible sound stage. These headphones are easily comparable to those twice the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great sound but one fatal flaw *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2019* They sound great, but they have a problem with the plastic frame that makes them squeak from literally any movement. Eating in these is near impossible, and even straightening my glasses or moving my head makes a loud noise. Also bear in mind they will leak sound since they're open.
