The original Cricut is now referred to as a Cricut Personal. Yes, this blade works in it. It gets harder to find blades and mats for the "original bug" for all of us old school Cricut users who still have the original machine. **Q: Are these the blades for the new Cricut Explore?** A: NO. The blade that is "listed" as a fine point blade is not actually one. It is the OLD replacement blade. Please do not listen to the other replies. I work for Cricut. The regular (not deep blade) on this page is NOT for newer machines. They are for the older machines. You can use them but they will cut too deep. If you cut vinyl it will cut into the backing. Please use the german carbide blades (or the real fine point blade).
