I fell in love with them and just had to try! The good news is that they're not as tight as I thought they would be. I'm an 8.5, 9 in pointed shoes, and yes they pinch but not as much as I'd feared and I think they have a little 'give' in them so am hoping that this will ease. Shame they only go up to an 8. I've walked a fair way in them, trying to break them in, and they're really quite comfortable aside from the nagging pinch every now and again. I think they'll be just fine. They seem to be well-made and the insole is nice and padded. They fit perfectly on the calf and the heel is the ideal height - not too much and still comfy enough to walk in. Can't speak to durability as I haven't had them long enough. I hope to get some decent wear from them as shoes should be made to last, but we'll see. So far, so good.
