If you went through with this purchase, I hope it worked out well for you and your dog. **Q: Would this cot be OK for a 20 lb. main coon cat?** A: I don't know what a coon cat is. My 10 lb dog LOVES it. I would think it could hold a 20 lb animal as well. **Q: It it large enough for two dogs? One is 13lbs (Yorkie) the other is 20lbs (Yorkie Poo). Think they both can lay on it?** A: I think it should be okay - my dog is 55 lbs and it fits her nicely - she loves it by the way - it's great for beach camping - keeps her off the sand and provides shade **Q: The photo shows a Labrador retriever launching on it. However, my product arrived defective with no documentation and no helpline number. That would be fine if the product wasn't defective, but mine was defective (one of the two locking mechanisms would not engage), and I had no way to call a helpline. There was no number posted on their website either, just a mailing address. Really? I had to post a message on Facebook, and they sent me an 800 number whose automated message instructed me to call another 800 number. The agent (through no fault of her own) wasn't really empowered to help me troubleshoot or determine if I needed to exchange it. I mean, if it's safe for my dog without both mechanisms working, I might consider keeping it, but I would prefer to talk to someone about it. She wasn't a product expert, and there wasn't an option to speak with someone who was. She kept asking if I needed replacement parts sent, but there really aren't any parts ... it's all one unit. She went through a discussion about assembly error. There isn't assembly for this product. It just unfolds. Anyway, now, I have to weigh going through some lengthy and painful warranty process (taking pictures, providing proof of purchase, possibly sending it back ... not sure if that's part of it or not) or just get my money back from Amazon. I thought this would be great for them to be in the shade while scoping out squirrels and rabbits and the neighbor's cat. One loves it, the other refuses to go on it, and jumps off if I put him on it. I put a cushion on it as the bottom is not firm enough, which is the reason of only 4 stars. I can understand a bigger dog moving it while jumping on or off but it is stable enough for my little guy. I like the portability of it, it folds up and collapses extremely easy. I will have to see how it holds up in the hot Texas sun. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars UV Damage Turns the Roof to Dust *by E***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2016* Within about half a year the roof canopy is falling apart. The sun here in Southern California has taken a toll on it, and the fabric is cracking and turning into dust, just tearing and crumbling to pieces. It's fragile like wet tissue now at this point (about a year) so we just leave it in place and try not to put our fingers clean through it when we do have to pick it up to move it. The bottom part is holding up okay though, but the metal rods no longer open and close without brute force. No rust or anything, we don't get rain here- it's just somehow corroded from being outside- which is what I thought this "Outdoor Pet Shade" was designed to do...
