This polisher works great for the dollar. Purchased as a finishing polisher where a lot of pressure is not required when working with the finer grits above 800 grit. When / if I have had an issue with previous units the company stepped up and corrected it quickly. Smaller size than others on the market and easy on the arms and wrist. I have had 3 polishers and each was well worth the money. Don't use for first stage course grit because this is not a heavy duty polisher and may wear out prematurely.

It was easy and very intuitive to use. Speed control was good and overall noise wasn't bad, but I live in a condo so I only used it during the day to avoid noise complaints. Best used with water.

Item stopped working threw a arc and quit after 8 hrs of use junk.

Haven’t even used the tool yet BECAUSE….. the water supply setup to this polisher is G-A-R-B-A-G-E. The video shows briefly….very briefly, connecting it to a kitchen sink. That rubber adapter would work on very few kitchen sink configurations AND the length of the supplied flimsy clear tubing requires all your polishing to be done within 3 feet of your kitchen sink. Plus, the rubber connection fitting leaks under pressure, so the sink is a must in order to catch all the leaking water. Had to throw away their tubing and replace it with landscaping drip tubing. Using a heat gun to make it fit over the barbed shut off valve (which so far does shut off the water flow well), then fashioned a garden hose connector using a FHT to 3/4” PVC pipe adapter sealed on the end with a PVC pipe cap. Drilled and tapped an 1/8” NPT hole in the cap and installed a 1/4” tube x 1/8” NPTM quick connect fitting. This setup works and the shutoff valve can be adjusted from just a trickle to more water than you need. Don’t yet know how the polisher actually works; I’m hoping it will run slow enough to polish my marble tile bathroom floor, around 400 rpm. It is a bit disconcerting that the electrical power cord has no ground. Make sure you’re connected to a working GFCI.

I would not have purchased the item if I had known about the electric shocks when using the it with the waterfeed. The instructios, using the term very lightly, look to have been written by a 3 year old child. No mention of the actual product, and no reference images. I would have return the POS, but did attempt to use it until after the return end date. I will be contacting Amazon for a replacement, and question why they even carry this item.

Thus is the second time that I order a tool from Amazon and I am left, really disappointed. How difficult is for Amazon to ask the suppliers that a clear owners manual is needed, I received a general safety manual with not even one word about the tool that I purchased. There is actually no name on the tool, this is a good indication that they know this is not a quality made tool. Absolutely not worth the money.
