Perhaps if they released a gamecube emulator for the wii u, but that wouldn't be a wii u game anyways **Q: does this only work with smash wiiu like the official one** A: I have to say yes it only works for smash. I tried it with mariokart 8 but the game in not compatible the gamecube controller, and i doubt nintendo will make other wii u titles that support the gamecube controller but you never know. But at this moment it only works for smash wii u **Q: Will this work with the nintendo wii that doesn't have the gamecube ports? It works a treat. And a fair bit cheaper than the MNS gamecube controller.
