I don't always need a keyboard for my Ipad, so I didn't want one that needed to be put in a case. I found this on Amazon, and wow, I love it! It is very lightweight yet feels very stable and well made. Has the perfect incline at the top to make typing very comfortable on your hands and wrists. Even though it's small, the keys have a regular keyboard feel. I love the spring they have, just enough to know you hit a letter. My keys are silent, which is a huge plus if I need to type and not disturb my husband. I don't have to take this with me when I just want my Ipad and won't need to type, yet this is so compact it still fits in my purse (I do carry a good sized cross-body purse), and I can just use the plastic sleeve it was shipped in to protect it. It paired instantly with my Ipad without any problems. Has an off and on button so no battery waste if you aren't going to be using it all the time. They really thought of everything and Amazon has a great price on it. I highly recommend this for anyone who does not want to have you Ipad in a case, this really takes care of any needs. My daughter paid much more for hers, and it has a hardcase with the Ipad in it, she likes this one better. She said the keys feel nicer and she wishes she had the option of the fold-able cover like I have, and not always having to carry her keyboard along. The battop keyboard gets the job done and is no frills. However, I am currently on my 3rd one. The first one I accidentally broke by dropping it, and the keys would not go back in (this was my fault). The second one for some reason would never connect to my laptop (Mac Pro 2014 model and this was not my fault). My third and current one, unfortunately had one of the keys pop out again, but I had the 1st one still so I replaced the key. Overall it works really well, and I love that it is so small and portable. I recommend to anyone buying this and plans to travel with it to get some sort of case or bag for it so that 1. keys don't hit any other service and come off 2. in general protect your keyboard. This uses AAA batteries, and it boasts long battery life, I am not sure if it is true though since I have only had used this current one for 2 -3 months. Either way you can check on your laptop what the battery life is if you're skeptical. It terms of connectivity, it does use bluetooth so make sure you have your charger with you because it will drain your devices battery quicker (that is expected of most bluetooth enabled devices though). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Inexpensive keyboard delivers the goods *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on September 25, 2014* I got this for an iPad Mini so I could type notes during meetings. The keyboard is a very good size for typing, looks sleek and neat and is easy to carry around. It connects to my iPad Mini quickly and I've never had any connection issues. The battery pack makes the keyboard slope just about perfectly. It's very lightweight and can be used on a lap or table as needed.The not-so-great: It is slightly more noisy than I'd like, the keys are unforgiving about bad typing practices (If I hold my hands up properly, it types great; if my wrists rest on the table edge, I sometimes miss a key) and I really wish I had a proper carrying case for it. None of these are deal-breakers, but people should be aware of them before buying the keyboard.All-in-all, for what I paid for it the keyboard is absolutely fantastic. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, but because of the noisy keys and the way it sometimes misses a stroke when I'm lazy-typing, I'm only giving it four stars.
