HDR only supported when connecting your PS4 directly to the TV not via VR box. A simple push button flips between the 2 sources with only a momentary delay before the new feed is displayed. This was a very cost effective solution to sharing the same TV to view 2 HDMI sources with no apparent degradation of picture quality and the sound actually seems slightly better. I used this to share the XboxOne and Nintendo switch inputs but the screen kept flashing when the Nintendo switch was on. I realised it didn't work with the Nintendo Switch so I gave the Nintendo it's own port and used this Switcher to share the inputs of my Xboxone and Android box. It has worked perfectly since.
