This item is really good quality with great double stitching is 'stress' areas. The zips are really good quality and I highly doubt they will fail, even in the most severe scenario. When you open the Maxpedition Fatty, it has a vast amount of what I can only describe as "loops". I was very surprised with how much I could fit in this pack and I know if you get one, you will be too! I use my Maxpedition Fatty Organiser Pouch as a general EDC (Every Day Carry) which is kept in my car 90% of the time. It contains several of my day to day requirements, including; various survival/outdoor, 4 x AA batteries, 4 AAA batteries, iPhone charger cable, Small tube of superglue, small pocket knife, first aid bandages etc, screwdriver pen, memory stick, 10m of ductape, bandana, 2 pencils, 1 small notepad and a spare lighter. I'm sure i'm missing out a few bits, but the pouch has so much more space available. I just need to fill it. It's nice to have a bit of peace of mind, knowing that most of the essentials I will need is contained within this small pouch. On the reverse of this pouch is MOLLE webbing loops. I find my EDC Organizer better with small diameter or thin/flat items, and I have it set up as a 'boo-boo' kit. My Fatty Organizers are more all-around useful and I have a few in my emergency bag, color coded, each with a different focus (e.g. fire, survival, repair). HTH **Q: What size patch can you attach to it?** A: Holding the item in my hand as I write this, I would say you would have a tough time attaching ANY patch, front or back. The front has Velcro and a webbing pouch, the rear has molly type strapping. Even a small patch would not fit my friend. **Q: How many rows of MOLLE loop/strapping is on the back?** A: 3. Need strap attachments. does not come with them. **Q: What size are the loops on the back?** A: I can put my benchmade EDC tactical tanto serraded knife in them. There are 2 sections with 4 loops on each side.
