great quality! reminds me of watercolour, lasts a long time and nice and smooth on paper, works with calligraphy pens and paintbrushes and creates really nice, consistent colour.

Really pleased with this Indian ink.I'd been looking for a good drawing ink suitable for comic book style drawings for a while and I've read reviews on lot of different brands. Strangely I saw no reviews or recommendations for Winsor and newton, which puzzled me because winsor & newton is a well recognised brand in art supplies. So when I ordered this it felt like a bit of a gamble.I need not have worried; the quality of this ink is amazing. The ink lays down really nicely and provides a nice deep black. This is important because a lot of the reviews often criticised other brands for dull and weak blacks.Also, I found the Winsor & newton ink retains its boldness on the page after time, which is extremely good, as I've heard some brands can fade a lot after time.I perhaps should have bought a smaller bottle of this to test first but I ended up gambling on this large bottle because it was such a great price. The gamble paid off. Really really nice product.5 stars.

Lovely quality inks & good choice of colours.Would be good to be able to have separate colours to choose 8 you want.

If you are an adult that loves colouring in watercolor paper or do backgrounds for the your art journal and occasionally cards for families and friends this inks are perfect, very cheap compare to other places and being looking around, believe me I did my search before purchasing these, I personally love them, I mixed them with water to get a water color wash effect, and they works fantastically. The dry permanently and water resistance after drying so that's a pro. As you can see in the pic I bought the two sets available and got the the other three from VHSmith today just to keep upgrading my collection, they are great love them and after my Cotman watercolor this is my second option to give a finishing touch to my work. Definitely recommend these inks if you are and artist, or student or have a love for painting like me! Postage and packaging perfect 10/10 for the inks and the fast delivery!!!

Excellent set of inks. Strong pigment, not powdery, very smooth. I bought these mainly for use on parchment paper(pergamano) and they are brilliant for that. They do not cause the paper to warp, and show up well. Free flowing with a mapping pen, and easy to mix. Pens rinse in water. In fact I have a couple of bottles of this ink left over from a set I purchased in the 1970s. Once I got them open 4 out of 6 inks were still useable after all those years, amazing. Now I'm looking to get the Henry set, and a few odd colours. I did look at some of the cheaper brands, but I'm glad I went with these. Nice gift for someone too. I also do some Anime, and Manga art and they are perfect for inking drawings too.

Je recherchais un produit couvant et brillant pour mes colos et ce produit est vraiment top . Le noir est magnifique, le blanc est super couvrant et le bronze et l'argent aussi . En plus même sur du papier fin ca ne traverse pas . En plus avoir les 4 en même temps c'est encore mieux .👍

The metallics are particularly striking although the gold needs a few coats and regular mixing to work fully. The white is a bit insipid and also needs a few coats. Black and silver are excellent.
