I am delighted with this. It is well made, with securely stitched binding all around the edges. It is the size of a large laptop and folds in half for easy transportation , or to make a smaller sized pad, should you need it. Others have complained about the size, I find it large enough as larger gel pads are heavier if you want to place it on your body when lying down.It will not stay cool all night. But if you hold it or lie on it for about ten minutes you will find you feel much cooler. Great for hot flushes and nights sweats! Just keep it next to your bed. I bought it to replace a leaky chillow, which seems to be a big problem with Chillows. These gel pillows aren't quite as cold as the chillow (although this may be an advantage if you have sensitive ears) and warm up a little quicker as well. However, you just need to move to another part of it while it cools down again, and it's great for getting to sleep as it will stay cool for several hours. It's much much lighter than the chillow, so easier to transport, and also more comfy as it has a soft cover. (The Chillow has rather hard edges that poke into your neck a bit.)
