Review: Great little lamp - I have bought three of these over the years, not because they went wrong and needed replacing but because they are so useful that I like to keep one in the car, one near the consumer unit and one with my tools so there is always one handy. Very compact and bright enough for most jobs you can use the hook like a stand or to hang it up with and I sometimes just loop it into my jacket to guide the way, and it even has a reasonably strong magnet on the back so you can stick it to metal surfaces if required. It is covered in a nice tactile rubbery plastic that doesn't slip too easily and has a good positive on off switch. If there is one small drawback it is that you have to undo two screws to change the batteries rather than it having a twist lock or catch but it's really not a big deal. At desertcart's price it is ok value but I just bought the same lamp on ebay for £2.99 with free delivery and batteries included which is an absolute bargain.

**Q: Are the batteries inside mine won't switch on**
A: Yes - you just undo the two small screws on the rear and remove the cover to reveal the batteries.There is a small piece of "insulation" plastic that you must then remove to activate the batteries.A pity they don't inform you about this when you purchase the lights which in all other respects are excellent.

**Q: Have a gym in a standard block garage..would three of these be the same as a lightbulb in a room? I need the whole area bright, not just small patches**
A: No they would not be as bright and the light from each shines 'forwards' only.  It would be like having three torches.

**Q: What distance do these lights illuminate in front of you? Are they very bright?**
A: To be honest I have not tried to see how far they project light, I have to get up in the night and wanted a light so I could see were our kitten was sleeping so I did not tread on him, I did find the light too bright for that but instead of shining the light out I place it facing down on my palm so it is muted.  Mind I have shown it ahead to see the clock face and check were I expect to see the kitten waiting for me to return to bed.  It is daylight now I will test it for you to night if you can wait.

**Q: what size are they?**
A: Sorry to have taken so long to answer your question but they were for my daughter.   Anyway the dimensions  you requested are diameter across back 7 cms.   And for the lights 4.8 cms.    Hope this isn't too late for you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small, but useful

These led lamps are a great little product and more versatile than the Rolson 61770 72 LED Camping Light which I have also bought. The magnet on the back is strong enough to support the light on a fridge door and the hook is easy to open and use. They're very bright and three together would be plenty for most people's needs. One niggle is battery access. There is no cover or hatch on these, instead you undo two screws on the back and take the back off to replace the batteries. If batteries died in these when used for camping then it could be problematic if you don't have a phillips screwdriver or a multi-tool handy.
