I am puzzled about the "rust in water?" are they for working under water...? **Q: Can these remove wooden dowels from holes?** A: The long nose pliers will get right into the hole top get at it. If that fails, get a drill with a wood bit and drill or out. Measure the width of your dowel and select a drill bit 2mm narrower. Then drill it top remove it, its the only way with heavily glued dowels. **Q: Im an electrician i need some new snips to strip and cut cables/wires the like are these gonna be any good** A: Yes for that they are fine, however I use a purpose made cable stripper which I also bought on Amazon and that is a C.K. 95001, absolutely fantastic.
