Good thing I have a lot of plants and too many bloody flies I wanted to get rid off. In my office, all plants are planted in the clay pebbles and lady who takes care of it recommended it to me. Although she did mention that if I replant my babies from soil to pebbles they may not take it well and some could die. I hesitated on that. I ordered this product because the price was right for my budget and I was pleasantly surprised. At first I thought I just try with few plants but when I started I did all of them and none of them died. All of them thriving in this alternative option. It was so easy to replant them with one annoying part: it's recommended to rinse the pebbles first. It has a lot of clay dust and it has to go before you use them. Also, you should keep them in the water for about 6 to 12 hours (dependsof the article you reading) so it would absorbe water better and won'tdry the plants. Since i did that, everything else was painless and surprisingly satisfying. I washed the roots so no more soil left on the plant and I put the pot inside the water first and then dropped the pebbles. In the water you can easily maneuver the plant the way you like it to stand and then take it out and it looks perfect. Its been about 2 months I replanted my plants and they I could see the growth in them. They are thriving! And I am not afraid to overwater because I soke them in the water and fertiliser solution for about 10 minutes and then put them back on the shelf. Clay pebbles absorbs the water and I am worry free for a week. If I would go somewhere for longer period, I would just leave a bit of water at the bottom and they would be fine. The best decision I ever made.
