They are very heavy and thick-walled but are made in preconfigured molds of lead-free crystal so they don’t have the sparkle or the crisp edges of hand cut lead crystal. They are an excellent price and certainly nicer than glass canisters. I was having a hard time determining what they will hold based on the measurements given so I got out my kitchen measuring cups as I filled them to find out. The large canister holds 5 cups, the medium 3 cups, and the small 1 ¼ cups; if you’re putting something in that can be piled up and not spill out like bath bombs, you can do a bit more. Other than my use, they’re good for holding coffee, tea, and daily use sugar, pet/human treats, or other smaller items but they aren’t intended for use as kitchen canisters to hold large bags of flour and sugar, the largest won’t even hold a 2 lb bag of flour which is 7 ½ cups.
