The Bulova 'Lunar Pilot Moon Watch' or Bulova 'Moon Watch' ('name or model' quoted depends on how the seller describes it), CAN be purchased fitted with a stainless steel bracelet. I bought the Bulova 'Heritage Lunar Pilot Limited Edition' version - £599, from a completely different source, than amazon. THAT model has a SILVER DIAL with BLUE chronograph smaller dials, BLUE Bezel, BLUE 'pushers' & is supplied fitted with a 'quick release' type Stainless Steel Bracelet & 'quick release' type BLUE Leather Nato Style strap (please note - the Strap is only 'Nato Style' it does NOT 'function' like a nato strap, since the strap is not fed through the spring bars - it fastens to your wrist ust like a 'normal' leather strap, with buckle & pin. There are currently at least THREE different listings (in amazons' shopping app, when used in uk - as of 9 June 2023) for this same (BLACK DIAL) watch. The most expensive I think, is about £556 with ONLY the steel bracelet fitted & in a nice box for ONE WATCH (no space for 'spare strap' or tool). Not good value then, compared to........... The cheapest which, is only £406 for the identical watch, but in a similar but BIGGER box that holds the watch fitted with Black LEATHER Strap, & contains the 'Nato Strap' & tool as well. I have no idea if this 'Nato Strap' functions like a 'proper' Nato Strap. This watch has all four:- Price- nowhere will you find a watch which does everything else so well for such a good price. Complexity- the high performance quartz movement is astounding, gaining/losing a couple seconds a year (my auto watches lose/gain more in half a day) History- the other moon watch, the fact that this alongside the omega speedmaster has been to the moon is enough reason to buy it. aesthetics- its a big watch, this was my biggest issue - i have a 6.75 inch wrist so i was worried 44mm would be too big though. it is large on the wrist however it is not as bad a s i thought it would be. i swapped the strap out for an aftermarket thinner strap and it hugs the wrist a lot better than the faux carbon fibre leather strap that comes with.
