I've found this to be a massive help in learning human anatomy with little effort being put into learning other that colouring the diagrams in. There is enough detail to cover everything needed for my learning needs for university. As a 'hands on' learner this has been ideal and is great for that type of learner. The book is well set out and is of good quality which adds to the feel of the item. To follow the colour scheme advised for the diagrams you will need a fairly extensive set of colouring pens/pencils. I've recommended to other students who have also found this to be really beneficial. Overall, a good quality item, nicely presented and has really helped with my learning. I ummed and ahhed for a while about buying it purely due to the cost, but I was so glad I did, it was an invaluable part of the revision for my atamomy and physiology exam. Like some of the other reviews say, it does look daunting at first glance, particularly complicated diagrams like the cell, but by colouring you make sense of the diagrams and instill the information in your memory.
