JETech Case for iPad Pro 9.7-Inch 2016 (Old Model), Slim Stand Hard Back Shell Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep (Black)

I bought a more expensive, well-known brand first and was disappointed with the bulky size (what's the point of a really slim iPad in a huge case?) so decided to try an alternative. This case is ideal, it's very slim so doesn't add much bulk to the iPad, it's light and functional. It is "smart" so it switches off the iPad when closed. It seems fairly well made but only time will tell if the materials are resilient. The iPad fits neatly and securely and so it's pretty well protected for a case of this type. All in all, it is an excellent product for the price and I would highly recommend it.

Really good product, exactly what I was looking for my iPad Pro 9.7. It fits perfectly, every single hole matches and doesn't block any holes. The materials are high quality and it is really light. Can't got wrong with this cover, is a bargain in comparison to the official one and protects the back of my iPad! The lid closes really smooth and because of its magnets, it wakes up the iPad automatically once opened. I was looking for a while for iPad covers and after reading the good reviews of this one I decided to buy it. So far is 5 out 5 stars, strongly recommended!

Product was of good quality build. I like the that it covers almost 90% of the sides, so you probably would not get scratches on the sides. Only issues with it were that the cover felt a bit rigid but would probably get smoother with use, and that the cover seems to exceed the ipad slightly when close. Like when you close the cover, it comes out abit on the right side. Its not really noticeable but if you hold your ipad in a certain way, you can feel that it and it just feels uncomfortable. Maybe its just me being abit too critical? Anyway good product for the money. Bought it as a temporary cover while i search for better ones in the future but ones it came, it looks decent enough that I may not need to buy another one.

After reading a few bad reviews of this case not fitting correctly, I was a little dubious when purchasing. After delivery and inspection, I have since realised that this case is perfect, I have no complaints. The case has good construction, with a nice rubbery material on the base, and a soft felt lining on the cover. The cover enables two tablet viewing positions, standing and slanted. The cover features a magnetic end, meaning it will awaken the tablet from sleep, remain stable in folded position and most importantly, not flap open in a bag. Lastly, all the cutouts are in the right place. Will it protect the iPad if dropped from height, probably not, but Its well made, looks stylish and doesn't add bulk.....

I bought this case to replace my very used and broken Zcover iPad Pro case unfortunately this is no longer available. I was getting desperate for a case that I liked and was quit slim and not bulky like most cases, this ticked all the boxes and seems a good case so far for the short time that I have used it, what I don’t like about this case is that the speaker grills and buttons are exposed however they are still protected as they are recessed into the case so it’s not a problem, to put on a positive spin on the uncovered buttons it does make it easier to find. I hope now that the case will live up to the test of time like my zcover did but this was over a £30 and this one is about £9 so to compare it, is unfair but for £9 you will just replace it. The coating on the cover is lightly rubberised so great for keeping a good grip I. Your hand on an expensive gadget. Overall it’s very good and I’m pleased with it.

After 2.5 years use I’ve renewed my jtech cover on my iPad 9.7” pro. The other one was still good but one corner was cracked and I’m not sure if it qualifies as protective any more. Like bike helmets.....sensible to buy a new one after a drop! The new one is identical in quality but a whole £2 cheaper than in early 2017. Amazing! I love these covers. Less than a quarter of the price that Apple charge for theirs and perfectly adequate quality. I had an Apple case for a previous iPad and it was no better quality. I find these benefit from a good clean up regularly. I take the iPad out and give everything a good wipe. I tend to get the felt part a bit greasy in the place where it rests on my hand, but this restores to like new with a damp cloth with a drop of washing up liquid. Very very happy with this latest purchase. The photo is of the one I’m now discarding after 2.5 years protection of my precious iPad...... bottom left corner is the damaged part.

Good product fitted IPad Pro well, plastic seems a little flimsy but time will tell, i.e. Worried about corners bending and tearing. Hope it lasts, last one via another manufacturer (not Apple,) on old iPad 2 is different design, but still ok after 5 years! Was a pain to put on though, took several times to het all the bubbles and tiney dust particles off from under it, needs a sterile dust free environment, net tou got one in your Feseratch lab, not possible in a normal home tho.

Overall: I bought this case back in August and it has served me well throughout that time. It's lightweight, protects the back and front from surface scratches, and has a rubberized texture that provides a good grip while holding. The felt surface on the inside is nice and soft, does not shed or stain (even under contact with the residual fingerprint oil on the iPad screen), and does not leave any micro-scratches on the iPad's glass surface. The iPad sleeps and auto-wakes without fault, and the fit of the case is perfect. The only caveat is that a small part of the case cracked near the power button of my iPad a week or so ago. However, the case was under warranty (6 months from the date of purchase I believe) and a short message through Amazon to the supplier resulted in a very quick reply a few hours later (very impressive!) asking for a picture of the crack. Another email with the picture attached, and the supplier replied (only 3 hours later!!) saying they would send a replacement free of charge. I received the replacement case, and it is the same one as the original, with same color and same fit. The service provided by the supplier was unexpectedly and really outstanding, especially for a case at this price-point. Positives: -Thin and light, and the openings for the buttons, speakers, and the lightning port are smooth cut without any jagged edges -The build quality of the case far surpasses expectations, and the case is a perfect fit for the iPad, without any looseness Negatives: -The case may not protect the iPad from large drops, especially around the front edges of the screen. I have a glass screen protector that has mitigated the potential damage there. -When the front flap is flipped to access the screen, and the magnet(?) of the flap clicks onto the backside, there's a bit of room between the flap and backside of the iPad that can prevent the back from being completely flat sometimes, but it is manageable. -The case may carry some scuff marks over time. The case is an amazing one, especially for the price, is of great build quality (even the sound it makes when the iPad first clicks in is great, but, it is also easy to pop out), and is backed by extraordinary service (from initial email to replacement was less than half a day(!) and this was on a Sunday night!). People have mistaken the case for an official one from Apple, and two of my friends have bought the case after seeing it on my iPad. I will buy from this supplier again in the future; they really make an amazing product.
