Have had no problem with the pencil breaking. Perhaps you are turning it up too much. No refills available that I am aware of,but as it reasonably priced, buy another one. I bought 2 for the price of 1 last year. It is the best eyebrow pencil I have had,and I am about to buy more.

I have dark blonde eyebrows but they're ash.. does this crayon have any warmth in it?

If you apply it lightly it works a treat and you can add pressure to get a darker colour. It doesnt last long..i have found buying a cheaper brow pencil and setting it with a clear brow gel is best.

Are the colours as the seem in the photo for the dark brown and medium brown? I have dark hair just wanted to know which would be best.

Id say medium brown is dark enough. The dark brown must come out black because the medium brown is very dark.
