Thanks in advance** A: I would recommend a harness if you are not going to close the zip , there is an anchor point inside so you can secure your dog to it.We just use her lead but feel happier to zip the front up, it is a mesh so plenty of air circlelatesYes a harness may be needed, there is a point to attach it inside.
