## Questions & Answers

**Q: What thickness steel are they please ?**
A: Approx 1/8th of an inch, or 3mm

**Q: What size is this bracket?**
A: Each side is approximately 8cm deep and also 8cm long to the middle of the bracket and so you would have double this area in size.

**Q: Dear seller, what size/type off screw would you recommend when using these with 100 x 200 sleepers?**
A: Personally, I used a self tapping stainless steel type for best outdoor longevity... Cross headed and driven in with a drill ...I think I used at least 4.5cm....probably 5cm length. But any good outdoor screws would do....you can Google the best types/coatings. Look out for types that do not perform well in treated wood.  The holes allow for quite thick screws too. They are good solid brackets.

**Q: Can these brackets be use on oak sleepers as been advised to use only stainless steel???**
A: I used them on oak sleepers with no problems what so ever. They haven't rusted yet (which is the only reason why you'd use stainless Steel) and I used them at least 2 or 3 years ago. I hope this helps with your decision.
