I did fiddle with the case every now and again (who doesn't) and I think this is the main reason that my first case started to crack on the back. Other than that there was never any issue and after plenty of drops, bumps and scrapes the case held out perfectly, and more importantly kept the phone completely safe. If you're someone who cares more about the thinness of the phone than it's protection then this case definitely isn't for you as it does make it considerably more bulky.
