Will the 11-42 and 11-46 work for my mtb bike?** A: Yes it will, as long as you have a rear der. with a long enough cage. Check what shimano recommends depending on your crank rings and if you go with an 11-42 or 11-46. **Q: Will this work with a shimano grx rear derailleur with wolf tooth hanger extender and zipp 454 nsw freehub body?** A: Depends on which GRX derailleur you have, but I have the 11-42 working with an Ultegra RX detailleur and Wolftooth roadlink. It will work on an 11-speed freehub body that works with Shimano and SRAM 11-speed, but you will need a spacer between the freehub and cassette. **Q: Where is this made from? Will this be work in 2x crankset? My current setup is 11-42 (slx) x 2 in front.** A: Don't know where it was manufactured, to be honest I never had a single quality issue with a Shimano part or component. It's a Japanese firm. About your setup, yes this cassette will work with either 1, 2 or 3 chainrings. I can’t answer your question ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works on a road bike with a spacer and hanger extender. *by M***R on 5 October 2018* I bought this to drop the gearing on my 105-equiped 11 speed touring bike. With a Wolf Roadlink it worked straight away with a mid-length derailleur. If you fit 11 speed MTB cassettes to road hubs remember to fit a spacer as well - from memory 1.85 mm, but check online. Other hanger extenders are now available; if you google 'derailleur hanger extender' you should be able to find a perfectly good one for about £5.00. The roadlink is a lot more expensive. Suntour make one as well. I think they are both available on Amazon.
