I got him a Schwinn for his first bike and the part where the pedals connect to the bike fell apart after a few months of use. This bike is solidly built and feels very nice to handle. Set up was a breeze. The best part of this bike is the ease with my son learning to ride without the training wheels. We had him ride it like it suggests without the pedals on and after he was zooming around with the use of his legs, we popped on the pedals which is a super easy to put on and take off. After 2 days he was riding this bike without the training wheels and we are so proud. My son was so happy to be riding his bike like a big boy and can now ride with his big sister and keep up. I am so thoroughly impressed with the quality of this bike and the ease of learning to ride without training wheels. It’s worth the extra money to buy this bike versus the cheaper alternatives online. The bike is well built and should last a long time. Seats and handle bars are easy to adjust as your child grows too.
