VAT is charged unless you’re a diabetic. **Q: Would these work with the glucorx hct machine?** A: No only GlucoRx HCT Strips work with that Meter **Q: I just want a unit to check if I have diabetes or not , is this suitable for the job?** A: This monitor will only show your blood sugar at a snapshot in time. To find out if you have diabetes you need to ask your doctor to carry out an HbA1c blood test. That shows your blood glucose levels over a 3 month period and is a much more accurate indicator of whether you are diabetic and how bad (or good) your overall levels are. **Q: Can any other test strip be used in this devuce as strips seem more expensive than others** A: I don't think so.
