Used these to string by Concerto Uke after a string broke - I decided to just replace all of them, and the quality and sound on these strings are great. I prefer these nylon strings on a uke, and will definitely buy again if I need to.

Just fitted these to my banjolele, something I should have done ages ago, as the sound was getting muddy. I can notice the improvement now and am happy with the bright sound. The strings were a bit stretchy at first, but soon settled down and are staying in tune nicely now. Only quibble is that, with a banjolele, the tailpiece is right at the base of the resonator and, as someone who likes to tie the strings at the tuning pegs too, I found there was barely enough length. But I did manage, just about. I'm sure these strings are slightly shorter than the previous set I bought. Overall though, I'm happy to recommend these strings.

These are the best quality strings I have ever used un nearly 20yrs of ukulele playing. Have immediately ordered another set.

My wife has just started learning how to play the ukulele, and was a little over-zealous while tuning it, and broke a string. After talking to friends who know about these things, I immediately sent for these Aquila replacement set of strings (two sets - just in case!!). They arrived very quickly, and I was very impressed with the colour coding on the ends so that I knew whjch was the G string I needed to use. Restringing took all of five minutes, even though my guitar restringing days were decades ago. While the strings supplied with the ukulele needed continually retuning for a week until the had completed their initial stretching and relaxation,, the new one bedded in very quickly, To my relatively untutored ear (at least for the ukulele) the sound is also very good, and sounds very sweet alongside my piano. Very highly recommended.

Not tried any others apart from the black strings supplied with my Ibanez ukelele. Clearly marked (if you look carefully at the strings and the packet) so you should get the right string in the right place. They went on well enough, didnt stretch unreasonable and make a good sound. I may find strings I prefer in the future but my next set (at least) will be more of the same.

I have been a musician for years and years but I’m a beginner on the banjolele. I thought I would try these strings out to replace the strings that came with my banjolele and what a difference there was. the sound was hugely improved and now it sounds sweet as a nut and a nice feel on the fingers. I have just ordered another set as spares.

Montate su un ukulele giocattolo, non hanno fatto il miracolo ma la qualità del suono è migliorata. Ho le stesse corde su un ukulele di qualità e devo dire che sono veramente ottime. Niente da dire, se mi dovessero servire altre corde ricomprerò queste.

Definitely better than the strings that came on my uke but they are very expensive. To put it in perspective: I bought Gibson strings for my electric guitar for a similar price.
