Would this be suitable?** A: The foam expands far too much for a small gap like that, excellent for larger jobs, i used it for a large gap between an outside wall and fence post. **Q: Can I use this to secure a washing rotary in the ground?** A: I'm guessing not this specific one but there are other foams that are specifically designed to do just that so you were not off thinking about foam. There is definitely one in Wickes called Postsaver Pro-set Rapid Set Lightweight Post Fix Resin Foam - 1.25kg **Q: Would this stop water getting into my garage ie rainwater under the door?** A: No, it's expanding foam. It fills gaps and holes with a sticky foam that then hardens to a waterproof barrier made of the same stuff that is used for packing in amazon deliverys. It has no real structure strength so if you stepped on it , or drove a car over it, it would break. It has no flexibility and woul glue the doors shut. It would stop leaks in gaps I.e. between a flat roof and a wall. **Q: I have a noisy hollow window sill when it rains. Would this be any good to fill the cavity in the sill to stop the noise?** A: Yes, I’d say that this would do the job for you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good stuff *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 October 2026* Works well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorilla Filler - Weatherproof Expanding Foam *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 March 2026* This is a pretty straightforward product if you’ve done any DIY around the house. I’ve been using it to fill gaps around door frames and pipework, and it expands nicely to fill spaces without leaving huge messes. The nozzle is easy to control, so you don’t end up over-applying, which can be a problem with cheaper brands. The foam cures quickly and hardens well. It’s weatherproof, so I’ve been happy using it on areas that get damp or have a bit of exposure to the elements. Once it’s set, it sands down reasonably easily if you need a smoother finish.A couple of things to keep in mind - it’s a one-use can, so plan carefully before you start, and it can stick to surfaces more than you might expect. Gloves are essential, and a bit of masking tape helps if you’re working near wood or painted surfaces. For anyone needing to seal gaps or insulate small areas, this does the job without fuss. It’s functional, reliable, and does what it says on the tin. Not fancy, but dependable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unmatched Performance: GORILLA FILLER Weatherproof Expanding Foam Filler Excels *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 August 2023* The GORILLA FILLER Weatherproof Expanding Foam Filler has truly proven its worth as a top-tier solution for various projects.
