They come in a small roll and you tear them off if you need them individualy for a toy military model gun or leave them on the roll and put them in to a toy pistol. Bang! **Q: How to use** A: Hi you open the gun up, insert the caps, close the gun and then pull the trigger. thanks. **Q: Hi, does the order refer to a single cylindrical roll of caps, or the box containing many rolls?** A: This is a single cylindrical roll of caps wrapped in yellow paper which you twist to open. Inside it contains 12 'rolls' of 100 caps each of which you slot in your gun. Some of the illustrations show a whole box containing many rolls but you don't get the box. The caps are subject now to H&S laws and hardly make a bang at all. Just clicking our gun makes as much noise with or without the caps. **Q: Does anybody know where I can purchase caps that actually make a loud noise?** A: I bought a box of 12 rolls of caps from Amazon and they still show them for sale. I bought them to test an old toy gun I found and they work. Amazon also stock the plastic ring of caps.
