If you're using some in a room to scent it or deter moths, be aware that it takes considerable time to diffuse through the space, and you will need to place several small sachets around to get the effect. A 20x25ft room should have a nice background scent in a day or two.We have no complaints, it scents a space nicely and bagged up into small organza sachets it will go inside soft toys or cushions and bring out a nice aroma. If you've bagged up small quantities in sachets as we have, it helps to periodically scrunch up the sachet in your hand to reactivate the scent. Sadly sometimes best laid plans etc etc, because as soon as my 1 kg bulk lavender arrived I opened the bag and instantly knew that it was not the best lavender or indeed idea we had ever had, sad to relate our idea was deeply flawed unfortunately after smelling the bulk lavender yes it did have a very faint aroma obviously but to be honest it would of been an insult to hand bags out containing this bulk lavender to family/friends because they would probably of thought I was mad. I put one in my car it's not moved for 5 days opened the door yesterday and all I could smell was new car and certainly not lavender. Just the name Lavender should be a massive clue here, basically in my opinion it was spent lavender, and I would of been better off gathering a bag of dried dead grass and tipping lavender oil into it because curiously in a way that is exactly what the seller suggested I do, he said he would send me a tiny 10 ml of lavender oil (still waiting) that I pour onto a week old bag of bulk lavender, surely the whole idea of buying bulk lavender is that you don't have to bring it back to revive it and bring it back to life for quite some time, and certainly not days after you have just purchased it, yes I am willing to accept that this batch of Daisy Shop bulk lavender may well of been poor, however when I informed the seller he went on the defensive and said that he had just been informed by another customer that a recent bag sold was excellent, TBH I cannot see any new reviews on here in fact some of the ones on here are a good few years old and even the later ones are 2/3 months old?? so I'm a tad mystified and puzzled as to where this excellent customer review has been posted, it's certainly not on Amazon UK.
