CARR & DAY & MARTIN Canter Mane and Tail Conditioner, 1 Litre

This remains my absolute favourite mane and tail detangler, and the new shape dispenser is just an added bonus. I use this on both my horse and one of my long haired dogs and it does exactly what it claims to. The dog's hair is very fine and this is the only thing that helps me keep her coat well brushed and silky. I use a little on the ends of longer sections of her coat that can become matted very quickly and it does make the job a whole lot easier; in fact, if I brush every day and re-spritz every other, it's a few minutes versus what used to be hours. I have tried other shine/detanglers but always come back to Carr and Day, simply because it works and stays on. It is true to its claims on keeping manes and tails silky and tangle free, however I wouldn't say it lasts two weeks, maybe 3-4 days max. In milder muddy weather I use it all over my horse to repel and make the mud easier to brush off. It works great, highly recommend! Nb: Some people may not like the new bottle, it is quite slippery in itself and the spritz goes on for quite a while, which I like but others may not. But the older style bottle was still available when I last looked.

Love this mane and tail conditioner. Leaves manes and tails trangle free, shiney and smooth. Use regularly and it keeps our horses clean. We also use this product in winter to spray our horses legs this helps to keep them mud free also coats with silicone to stop wet from penetrating onto skin to avoid mud rash and rain scald. Excellant value for money.

Love the new design of the Carr Day and Martin spray bottles - they now look like human hair products (from a distance), so much more stylish than the white bottles of old! My horse bolts as soon as he hears a trigger spray, but these new Equimist spray bottles are quieter and the spray comes out in a much finer mist, so much better for using on him! I can't see that the formula has changed in anyway, so that's good. A product that I have repurchased over the years, it keeps manes and tails silky and easy to brush through.

I bought this as a leave in conditioner for maintence on my show dog, I am not enamored by the smell, but it is not the worst. As a conditioner it does what you would expect, it stops clumping, matting, and coat breakage when used every other day. The only other thing I will say, it leaves your hands feeling a bit sticky.

I have found this to be the best product for managing my hairy Friesian horse. The spray bottle however is more about style than function. The bottle is non-rigid and deforms when gripped. The spray trigger area is not ergonomic and does not sit easily in the hand in use. The spray mist is extra fine and easily blown away in the wind. The previous white bottle for this product was excellent in every respect and had none of the above problems.

Good price and much easier to use that the newer pressurised bottle. Makes the missus very happy that pony gets a nice shiny tail and mane before going to dressage parties.,

Great product arrived promptly. My horse looks a million dollars now with his silky/shiny coat, mane and tail. This bottle will last for ages as only a few sprays needed to achieve excellent results! I will definitely buy another in the future 👍

love this makes my girl mane and tail smell good, and looks amazing would happily recommend the bottle is nice and big and the way it comes out makes a nice even coverage its quite which dosen't scare the horse i have a young girl and she isn't bothered by it at all. Very happy with it

Es macht das Haar schön geschmeidig und es hält sich sehr lange im Haar. Absolut empfehlenswertes Produkt, wenn auch im Vergleich etwas teurer als andere Produkte.

Great product. I have used this product your years. There is nothing else on the market that works as well as this. BUTTTTT.... I ordered a 32 oz. bottle and received a 16oz. No return address attached.... So, make certain you don't get cheated like me... Get what you pay for....

Super Mähnen und Schweif Spray! Habe zunächst nicht dran geglaubt, aber der Effekt ist toll! Die Haare werden super weich und es harkt gar nicht mehr beim kämmen. Die Seidigkeit hält auch ein paar Tage an :) Vorher hatte mein Wallach extrem Haarausfall beim Kämmen mit anderen Sprays, das hat sich mit diesem hier mehr als halbiert! Das Auftragen ist auch super, die Flasche macht eher Nebel, als Tropfen und somit wird das Spray gleichmäßig verteilt! Ich bin begeistert und werde er wohl wieder kaufen!

Das Mähnenspray ist der Hammer. Gibt nichts besseres. Habe alle möglichen ausprobiert aber keins ist so klasse wie dieses. Benutze es schon sehr lange. Es ist sparsam und es macht Mähne und Schweif einfach traumhaft. Nur zu empfehlen!!!!!!!!
