This is where the Golden Age begins, where all of the issues I've previously listed finally disappear and - I'd argue - never come up again. It really establishes the world and the character himself GUTS. It gives a lot of mystery to the character and you want to know more and more about him. How did he get to where he is? These first 3 volumes follow GUTS on his own adventures. Going to towns and slaying demons. Each demon with their own twisted personalities with amazing art style to show this off. Same goes for the world around GUTS. The art style is amazing. So much detail and sometimes it has minimal pieces come up which are just as good. The books have dialogue but sometimes. It feels like it doesn’t have much and it lets the art tell the story which I really enjoy.
